I know how hard chronic diseases can be on a person, and how much of a toll they can take on families. I'm here to do everything I can to help people avoid that, to live health-full lives, with the freedom to be mobile and active, to mitigate the pain and suffering of being overweight, stressed out and fatigued, replaced with the joy of movement, the vitality of family, and the spirit of contentment.
My dad passed away in 2020 due to complications from Type 2 diabetes. The last few months were especially rough as a variety of ailments rose up all at once. But in the end, I don’t think it mattered. He’d been on at-home dialysis for diabetes for a few years, and I think his body just gave out to the point where his immune system couldn’t fight anymore so all of the ailments just ran rampant. It was tough to watch – vacations and holidays interrupted by aches and pains, the endless parade of doctors, diagnoses and prescriptions, the toll it took as his freedom dwindled – the dialysis kept him close to home and restricted his ability to travel and visit family, which weighed heavily on his spirit. Watching my dad’s health decline was one of the deciding factors in why I became a health coach. My fascination with nature’s ability to heal transformed into a deep determination to not only help myself age with less suffering, but to also help others age health-full. I deeply and passionately believe everyone has the power to improve their health at any age, and that the best way to do so is using nature as guide, centered around the principles of Fresh Air, Fresh Food & Fresh Mindset. We’ve been led to believe that chronic disease is an inevitability, that aging equals suffering. As a health coach, I’m committed to helping people find a better way, to teaching them how to give their body the support it needs, using resources we all have right outside our door, that work in alignment with our bodies, and without harmful side effects. For me, it’s incredibly rewarding to help people find their path to health, and I’m excited to join you in discovering yours.
